These are uniquely hand coloured reproduction road maps,
showing the important routes of the 17th Century, after John Ogilby.

Measuring c. 20" x 16", these maps have been reproduced onto good quality
pale ivory paper, and painstakingly hand coloured,
using sable brushes and traditional watercolours and inks.

THERE IS NO PRINTED COLOUR ON THESE MAPS WHATSOEVER!

Our maps are individually hand coloured, making each one unique and very desirable.

As each map is an individual work of art in it's own right,
each is unique and may differ slightly from the pictures shown on the site.
Although not totally accurate from a cartography point of view,
these maps display a charm and naivete that cannot be found in today's hi-tech world.

We can also supply these maps window mounted and framed, with professionally executed,
pale ivory conservation grade wash-lined mount,
and framed in a traditional dark walnut and gold frame.
The overall size of the framed article is around 26" x 22".

The framed products take roughly two weeks to arrive at a UK address,
whilst the rolled and dry mounted items take around seven days.
