West Riding of Yorkshire
In the top right hand corner is a birds' eye view of the city of York,
along with a legend showing all it's streets, churches and other major buildings of the time.
Beneath the plan are the arms of five of the Dukes of York,
whilst on the opposite side of the map, a cherub measures the scale of miles.
The towns of Leeds and Sheffield are shown as they were before the industrialisation,
and also marked is Haworth, home of the famous Bronte sisters.
